SUMMARY & BACKGROUND:
The City seeks to enter a contract with executive search consultants, GovHR USA for the identification, evaluation, and screening of applicants for the positions of Director of Finance, Director of Economic and Business Development, and Director of Diversity and Inclusion. Competitive proposals were sought from November 12, 2020 through December 1, 2020. Four (4) bids were submitted. The selection committee reviewed the proposals based on cost, services provided, and the company's record of similar successful placements of qualified, diverse candidates. Based on this review, it was determined that GovHR USA is best-suited to achieve the City's objective of filling these important jobs within the administration. These positions are vital to the operation of the City and therefore candidates need to be identified and hired as expeditiously as possible.
Summary
NOW, THEREFORE, Be it ordained by the Council of the City of Toledo:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor is authorized to enter into a professional services agreement with GovHR USA, for the identification, evaluation, and screening of applicants for the positions of Director of Finance, Director of Economic and Business Development, and Director of Diversity and Inclusion for a term not to exceed eighteen (18) months and upon other terms and conditions deemed proper and requisite according to the Mayor, Director of Law, and the Director of Human Resources.
