SUMMARY & BACKGROUND:
Toledo Fire and Rescue Department is requesting the purchase of MSA firefighting face piece units for the new firefighter recruits with the class scheduled to begin in April.

This equipment is an essential part of the firefighter's protective equipment. This equipment is placed on the firefighters face and connects to the firefighter's air tank to ensure breathing of clean air while also allowing the firefighter to see through the protective lens during firefighting.
