SUMMARY & BACKGROUND:
The Toledo-Lucas County Victim-Witness Assistance Program has requested funding to continue its services to residents of Toledo and Lucas County. The Toledo/Lucas County Victim-Witness Assistance Program assists victims of violent crime as they go through the criminal justice process, to the prosecution of their offender. This ordinance authorizes the expenditure of $40,000 for the contribution from the Police Law Enforcement Trust Fund. There are no impacts on general fund expenses or revenues.
