SUMMARY & BACKGROUND:
The Division of Water Reclamation has identified the need to increase the efficient use of operating funds by transferring remaining funds and conduct a project to clean the Aeration Tanks. The Aeration Tank Cleaning Project will enable the division to clean and repair aeration tanks at the Water Reclamation Plant including sediment removal, air piping and valve repair and diffuser replacement.

This project is critical to the operation of the Water Reclamation Facility because the components are essential for the treatment of wastewater in order to maintain compliance with the NPDES discharge permit.
