SUMMARY & BACKGROUND:
This Ordinance authorizes the disappropriation of $450,000 from the District Improvement Program in the CIP Fund, the transfer of those funds from the CIP Fund to the General Fund, and the disappropriation of $300,000 from the General Fund for a Regional High-Speed Rail Transit System Feasibility Study, and the appropriation and expenditure of $750,000 for the purpose of hiring a new Police Class during 2020. This is necessary to maintain safety services in the City of Toledo.
Summary
NOW, THEREFORE, Be it ordained by the Council of the City of Toledo:
SECTION 1. That the disappropriation of $450,000 is authorized from the Capital Improvement Program Fund DIP Grants, Account Code 5040-16400-8CP2043DNGPRO.
SECTION 2. That the appropriation of $450,000 is authorized from the unappropriated balance of the Capital Improvement Program Fund to Account Code 5040-14200-558100-1132001STDSTD.
SECTION 3. That the transfer of $450,000 is appropriated and authorized from the CIP Fund, Account Code 5040-14200-558100-1132001STDSTD to the General Fund, Account Code 1001-89800-408690-1129001STDSTD.
SECTION 4. That the disappropriation of $300,000 is authorized from the General Fund, Regional High-Speed Rail Transit System Feasibility Study, Account Code 1001-10100-558900-1112001STDSTD.
