Authorizing the Mayor to execute a County Wide Emergency Medical Services Agreement between the Board of Commissioners of Lucas County, City of Toledo and other Lucas County subdivisions; authorizing the acceptance and deposit of payments; and declaring an emergency.

Body
SUMMARY & BACKGROUND:

The compensation rate for each full time Advanced Life Support Life Squad will be $201,099.03 for each full quarter and $125,686.89 for each full quarter for the part-time Advance Life Support Life Squad. Total annual compensation to Toledo under the Agreement is approximately $4,524,728 million. This Agreement continues the existing county wide EMS operational relationship between Lucas County Board of Commissioners and other Lucas county subdivisions. The Agreement is effective January 1, 2020 through December 31, 2020, with an option to extend the Agreement on a quarterly basis.
