SUMMARY & BACKGROUND:
Lucas County Emergency Management Agency has awarded the Toledo Fire and Rescue Department a State Homeland Security Regional Grant not to exceed $88,781.20. These funds are to be utilized to for the Toledo Fire and Rescue Department HazMat Team Regional MCI Standardization.

Summary
NOW, THEREFORE, Be it ordained by the Council of the City of Toledo:

SECTION 1. That the Mayor is authorized to enter into a grant agreement with Lucas County Emergency Management Agency and to accept and deposit State Homeland Security Regional grant funds in an amount not to exceed $88,781.20 into the Operation Grants Fund Account Code 2016-53000-3G00404STDSTD for HazMat Team Regional MCI Standardization.

SECTION 2. That the sum of $88,781.20 is appropriated from the unappropriated grant proceeds of the Operation Grants Fund to Account Code 2016-53000-3G00404STDSTD; and further authorizing the expenditure of the same for the Toledo Fire and Rescue Department HazMat Team Regional MCI Standardization.

SECTION 3. That the Director of Finance is authorized to draw her warrant or warrants against the above Account Code in an amount not to exceed $88,781.20 in payment of the above authorized obligations upon presentation of the proper voucher or vouchers.
